Culligan Water Filtration Systems

Culligan has one of the widest range of filtration technologies available on the market.

Available as stand-alone units or as part of the system, Culligan’s filtration technologies include:

Self-Cleaning Filters

Self-cleaning filters are a highly flexible, versatile and economical solution for addressing small scale water filtration problems. They are commonly used as a barrier against suspended solids to protect sensitive equipment. The self-cleaning filters eliminate the need for replacement cartridges by using a backwash system which can be controlled either fully automatically or semi-automatically depending on the model. Filtration is possible from 50 to 500 μm up to a maximum flow rate of 52 m3/hr

FAS semi-automatic filter

Available with 1 and 1.5” connections the FAS semi-automatic filter is rated for flow rates up to 8 m3 / h. The semi-automatic backwash filtration mode is instigated manually by the user when required.

EASY semi-automatic filter

The EASY semi-automatic filter is capable of flow rates up to 9.5m3/hr and is available with 1, 1.5, and 2” connections.

Easy A fully automatic filter

The Easy A filter has a fully automatic cleaning system which is controlled using a configurable timer, and is used to reduce the levels of suspended solids contained in the water up to a flow of 8 m3 / h. Available with 1, 1.5 and 2” connection fittings.

Easy Max and Easy Max A - Water Filtration - Culligan

Easy Max and Easy Max A

For higher capacity (flow rates up to 52m3/hr) applications the EASY MAX self-cleaning filters with 2” fittings (threaded) and ND 65-80-100 (flanged) fittings are available. This filter is available in automatic or semi-automatic models.

Cartridge Micro-filtration

Mechanical cartridge filtration is a robust and economical solution for smaller scale water filtration. Ideal as a protection pre-filtration for expensive treatment systems and equipment.

Gard System - Water Filtration System - Culligan

GARD System

With this highly versatile modular system, filters can be combined into multiple configurations (parallel, series, series-parallel etc) to suit any application. Utilising a strainer filter at the inlet followed by a selection of elements ranging from 80 microns down to 1 micron levels of filtration. Filter cartridges are available in food-grade polypropylene for suspended solids, Crystal phosphate cartridges for corrosion prevention and activated carbon cartridges for the absorption of organics and colour removal.

FGX3 - Commerical & Industrial Water Treatment Products - Culligan

FGX3

Utilising a quick release clamp system for fast change-out of cartridges and housed in an AISI 316 stainless steel enclosure with 1.5”, 2.5” and 3” UNI 338 threaded inlet/outlet connections the FGX3 filtration system is a robust and economical filtration system. Able to treat flows of up to 45m3/hr the FGX3 series of filters is available with a wide range of filtration levels (1 – 5 – 20 microns) and is flexible enough to allow multiple cartridge lengths to be installed. The system is supplied with a tripod support for simple floor installation.

Dynamic Separators

dsa dynamic separator - Culligan

Culligan DSA range of Dynamic Separators

Dynamic separators are filters designed to remove suspended solids from the water (eg sand). Removal capacity is equal to 98% of all particles having a size greater than 80 microns and a specific weight greater than 1 kg/dm3. The dynamic separator is so named because it uses the centrifugal movement of water to separate the solids from the liquid. So the unit has no mechanical moving parts, which makes it almost eliminated the cost of operation and maintenance.
